It’s Labor Day weekend, so show some spirit by doing a fun craft with your kids. You’ll need some red and white ribbon, cans, blue spray paint, some twine, and white star cut outs to make these windsocks, or you can come up with a craft of your own. Make into a small history lesson by telling them that we celebrate Labor Day in honor of the social and economic achievements of American workers.

It may be the last weekend of summer, but it’s the first weekend of college football! Take the opportunity to barbecue while it’s still warm outside. You can also try sprucing up a regular cheeseburger with toppings or fillers.
