Pinterest Contest: Pin to Win a $500 Visa Gift Card

Update: This contest has ended and the winner has been contacted. Thank you to all who entered!

This holiday season, we’re featuring articles with resources and ideas for creating a meaningful and magical time with family, including recipes, holiday learning activities, gift ideas, and tips and fun facts. But we want to also help with the other part of the holiday season—the expensive part.

Of course, the holiday season is about more than presents and material things.  It’s about spending special, quality time with the people we love, and for many of us, celebrating cultural, family, or religious traditions. But even if the focus is on time together, that doesn’t mean it isn’t a busy and often, expensive time for families. Shopping for gifts, holiday travel, and the grocery bill for your holiday feast—it all adds up.

We’re excited to announce our Meaning and Magic Pinterest contest for a $500 Visa gift card to help you finish up your holiday shopping!

Pinterest is one of our favorite resources for finding and collecting inspiration all year round, and the holidays are no exception. We know the holidays are a busy time, so we made sure that entering our Meaning and Magic Pinterest contest is as simple as can be. Just follow these steps and enter using the form below.

Step 1: Follow K12 and Learning Liftoff on Pinterest

Step 2: Create a board for the holidays and pin your favorite articles from Learning Liftoff’s Meaning and Magic series, featuring ideas for spending meaningful, magical time as a family during this holiday season. Your board must include at least three pins from Learning Liftoff, but you are welcome to pin more, or even pin from other sources too. Use the hashtag #meaningandmagic in the description for each pin.

Step 3: You must submit  your board’s URL using the form below by Dec. 17 in order to be entered for a chance to win.

Step 4: Improve your odds by sharing with your friends! For every friend that enters from your unique link, you’ll get another entry in the contest.

All entries must be received no later than 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014. Entries submitted after the deadline will not be eligible for prizes.
