Museums are a great way to augment learning. But there are so many great museums across the world that it’s nearly impossible to visit them all.
Now, you don’t have to. Kids can learn from museums through an incredible amount of online collections . The American Museum of Natural History in New York City has no less than 25 pages of informative videos . Their YouTube Channel is loaded with more great videos, and students can also look through their current exhibitions online.
There are many Smithsonian museums in Washington, D.C., ranging from the African Art Museum to the American History Museum to the Air and Space Museum, and many more. You can take virtual tours of their exhibitions—even the National Zoo .
Parents can bring their kids to a museum that pertains to the subjects they are currently learning, or just to expand their knowledge of the world. For online learners, this can easily be added to their day.
