Fall is in the air! Make the most of the season with these fun activities!
Elementary School
Pumpkin Picking: This is a fun way to get outside and let your child run around as he or she looks for the perfect pumpkin. Usually at pumpkin fields they also have fun activities like mazes or pony riding. When you get home you can carve or paint your pumpkin.

Build Scarecrows: Building scarecrows is a great activity to do with just your family or make it a block party and have a competition with the neighbors.
Carve Pumpkins: With younger kids it may be wiser to allow them to paint the pumpkins but if your child is a little older, let them design and cut out their own jack-o-lantern Make sure an adult is supervising to ensure carving tools are handled safely!
Build a fire in the back yard: Does your kid know how to build a fire? Make sure your child understands the basics of fire safety, and then let them figure out which kindling works best to get their fire roaring. We recommend having an adult supervise any fire-building activities.
*Fire laws vary on the state so be sure to check your state’s laws before making a bonfire in your back yard.
