Learning Liftoff’s editors picked the top snacks, crafts, and other fun weekend activities for September 19-21.
Take a break ! You’ve been in school for a few days or weeks now, and you deserve it. Watch a movie you’ve been meaning to see, or check out a TV show on Netflix. Whatever helps you relax your mind, make time to take time!

Everyone likes to have a yummy snack while they’re taking a break, so think outside of the box. Put a spin on the original Puppy Chow recipe, and make a Funfetti Cupcake Puppy Chow, and enjoy!

You need something to wash down all of that Puppy Chow, so make it equally as delicious. Yum!

Make a countdown. Sometimes, I find that it’s the little piece of inspiration I’m looking for to get me through a homework assignment, or to wrap up a project. Count down to your birthday, a holiday, the weekend, or all three. Running out of wall space? There are plenty of great countdown apps available for iOs and Android .

You can also have fun this weekend by making your own lava lamp.
