What is a Hybrid Charter School?

Education Week has published a story on the growth of hybrid charter schools this week. Hybrid charter schools incorporate both face-to-face instruction and online learning.  Some hybrids are primarily online schools that offer some face-to-face component, while others, like our Flex Academy, require the students to attend school in person daily.

The article includes information about some of our schools including San Francisco Flex Academy, the Arizona Virtual Academy YMCA program, and Youth Connection Charter School (YCCS) Virtual High School.

Head over to Education Week to read more about the hybrid model of online schooling.
